Pray for me I drive Killer Pa. Route 65

Yes it has happened again  another double fatal accident along Pa65 also known as Ohio River Boulevard or ORB
it goes from Pittsburgh North side all the way up north to New castle Pa.
its mostly 2 lanes narrow and full of red lights  and motorists making lefts and crossing across at intersections

There where so many horrific fatal crashes along ORB in the 1970's That Allegheny County  Sheriffs
where put on night patrols to assist local police depts to stop and ticket or apprehend dangerous motorists after an elderly couple and 2 young boys delivering newspapers with there mom where killed in the same stretch as these 2 young men. The posted limit is 35 but typically speeds of 65 are not unheard of.
Intersection of camp horne and ORB  site of many truck rollovers

rt65 and Allegheny Blvd. better count to 10 before you pull out from right or left because all the red light runners
I was a young teen on my way home with my mom from Ellwood city  on 65 the night the elderly couple was killed in front of the now  arbys roast beef  restaurant it was a horrifying sight of red lights spot lights and debris everywhere and red blood on the ground and I have been past many more wrecks and assisted at many along the stretch thru Emsworth where I help the local fire dept. Where Holy Family Institute is located on Allegheny Ave is a light you never pull out  from Allegheny it is green you first count to 10 or risk getting T boned by a car running the red light. I was getting ready to teach a class at there annex building one night when a car stopped to make a left turn was slammed into at 75 mph .
and thats when the infamous Kilbuck police patrolled the lower stretch  towards sewickley they even pulled over an emsworth fire truck for going 10 mph over speed limit responding to a fire in Aleppo . the unit has since been disbanded.
