When you switch your phone system from Analog lines to digital will all your systems accesories operate properly like loud Bells and Lights

A customer of mine called other day he switched from traditional Analog phone lines from Verizon  to Digital Phone lines provided by Comcast/Xfinity  and while he is saving money and has good line quality there was one small problem the speaker and bells and flashing lights he uses at his locations in the warehouses had all stopped working.
OK well what he did not realize is most ancillary analog equipment, ( Lights, Bells )  uses ground sensing to tell a line is ringing also digital lines do not supply enough ringing power or REN Ringer Equivalent Number   to power up devices which do not require ground sensing. Now what is he to do?
Well once again Viking Electronic products to the rescue.

He already had a PA-2 which provides simple back round paging and rings lines over the speakers  but it will not work with digital lines the solution they have come out with a PA-2A which works in place of the old PA-2 so one problem solved

But what about the outside auxiliary  bells in the lot well once again Viking makes a product to handle this whats known as a ring shaper RG-204 where it takes the digital signal and corrects it output and boosts it to ring auxiliary bells and lights .

Viking makes several different models of boosters to handle what you need  to make old equipment work with new digital lines . Viking makes all kinds of solutions to telecom issues but many phone vendors do not know they exists. Thats a shame and if thats the case thats a vendor you should avoid because they will try and tell you no such thing exists or propose very expensive solutions which really do not work.
