One of the fire calls I use to get when I was a Volunteer fireman was unattended kitchen stove fires .
People would put a pot on the stove and get busy and forgot they did so and next thing you know the house is filling with smoke .
Well some one has taken the initiative to bring to market later this summer a product designed to shut down the stove when it hears a smoke detector sound.
